First Christmas Sunday

First Christmas present -- pajamas from Grandma!

What a special time for us as a family! It's a little easier to imagine how Mary "treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart" at Christmas time 2000 years ago. Of course, her baby was the King of Kings! As I was reminded this morning, although I love all the traditions and fun of Christmas, the real celebration is of the birth of Jesus Christ so many years ago.

This year's Christmas pictures were also Madelynn's three month pictures. She wasn't too thrilled to be moved around and fussed with, but she's awfully cute! Come to think of it, Rich wasn't too thrilled either ... she's such a daddy's girl! :)

It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas!

We did a little decorating around the house this morning and then started off the Christmas season with our annual trip to Seattle for the Westlake Tree Lighting. It's even more special with Madelynn this year! :)

We celebrated Madelynn's first Thanksgiving at Grandpa and Grandma's house. Papa and Tutu, Uncle Scott, Jody, and Brackston joined the festivities! It was great!!
