Memorial Day Weekend

What a beautiful sunny weekend we've had!

One of the things Rich worked on was his storage of the Jeep hard top. Although Sammie loved having it on the deck in the backyard .....

Rich is thrilled to have it hanging in the garage now. Thanks, Frank, for all the help!!

And, of course, what's a sunny memorial day weekend without great barbeque meals!

A Couple Weeks Overdue

Well, this was taken a couple weeks ago, but I keep hearing that I need to post an updated picture. So, here it is! Baby Michard is doing really well. The countdown is below 100 days. We're so excited!!!

20 weeks!

We're at the halfway point! I can't believe it! We were thrilled to hear today that baby Michard is growing just as expected. He or she is sure moving a lot!

Victoria, B.C.

Rich and I spent the last 4 days in Victoria. It was a great trip ... beautiful weather and a wonderfully relaxing time! We walked a LOT. It was our first trip with baby "Michard" and probably our last trip "by ourselves"! :)

P.S. Since we're not going to find out if we're having a boy or a girl until he or she is born (sorry Noell!!), Michard is the name we're using for baby Hughes ... half Michelle and half Richard! :)

Nursery!

This weekend we started setting up the nursery!! I know we have lots of time, but it's fun to start putting things together.

Rich working on the crib.
Sammie ... getting as much time in with Dad as possible!

Our crib and changing table. The blanket on the crib was made by my Grandma just for her great-grandbaby!

The dresser.

The baby bump ... 4 months along!! Time is flying!

2nd Trimester

The baby continues to grow and everything looks good. At our most recent ultrasound, the tech told me the baby has soccer kicking legs! He or she is going to be like Uncle Scott! :) Here's an updated "pooch" picture.

And, Noell reminded us that this Valentine's Day was our last one just the 2 of us .... Don't think my mom (Grandma!) agreed that there are just 2 of us. Here's Rich with our gift from her! :) Thanks, Mom!

Baby! :)

Yep ... Michelle's pregnant!! :) We're expecting our first baby the end of August. We feel VERY blessed and just keep thanking the Lord for our little miracle!!

Oops ... wrong profile! But, Rich is VERY excited!!

Can you see the pooch yet?! :)
